In attendance: Joan Eisemann, Tommy Griffin, Erin Horne, Brittany Mastrangelo, Tamah Morant, Darby Orcutt, Krista Ringler, Jordie Shaw

  1. Welcome
    1. Meeting called to order at 10:06 am
  2. Admissions Update
    1. T. Griffin shared updated numbers about freshman and transfer admissions.
    2. Deadline for admitted freshman to confirm is Monday, May 1, 2017.
    3. Discussion
  3. Nominations and Election of New Committee Chair
    1. J. Eisemann nominated by D. Orcutt, Seconded by T. Morant.
    2. Quorum of voting members not present.
    3. Electronic vote will be sent to all committee members for voting by end of business on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
  4. End of Term Appeals (MAY)
    1. Continuation appeals will be running all summer.
    2. Students will be notified on May 13th who have not met one or all of the criteria.
    3. Students enrolled for summer I will have 1.5 business days to complete the appeal and get it in the system.
    4. Committee needs to review those by noon on Tuesday, May 16th (Since Wednesday is first day of Summer 1). If enrolled in Summer I, will get additional notification they have until 5:00 pm to complete application. R&R will be canceling schedules on Tuesday once decisions were made.
    5. E. Horne will send a calendar invite to all voting committee members about the noon May 16th deadline to review continuation appeals. 
  5. Rolling Appeals (SUMMER)
    1. Discussion about process and how to engage more committee members in voting process.
    2. R&R will schedule these and notify the committee when applications need to be reviewed.
