  • Discussion of AI Advisory Group Spring 2026 Update
  • Update on AI Liaisons Program
    • Liaison sign-up is still open; several volunteers gained.
  • Discussion of Amplify GenAI Pilot
    • Aiming to collect 10 to 15 volunteers by March 6, 2026.
  • AI at NC State Web Updates
    • A large update to the website is in progress; still being drafted.
    • Updates will be given to the Home page, FAQ page, new “About” page, Training page and menu navigation.
  • Update on the Deans/DSA Fellows Program
    • Fellows identified from each college; offer letters to be sent out shortly.
    • Overview of fellows’ purpose, tasks and schedule.
  • Discussion of Spring AI Research Convening
  • Update on AI Literacy Modules
    • Modules are being piloted and researched through OASIS accelerator program involving NC State faculty.
    • AI fluency/literacy leveraged by Albr (new DSA partnership).
    • Discussion of standardized AI language and expected skills across campus.
  • Webpage Minutes Update
    • Minutes and products are being organized; work in progress.
    • Subgroup leaders to note the products they want to be posted on AI at NC State.
  • Business Subgroup Report & Discussion Items
    • Members to provide feedback to the upcoming Guidelines Around AI Enabled Video Conferencing document.
    • Searching for volunteers to launch the CoP for AI in Business Operations; kickoff meeting to be scheduled in March.
  •  Education Subgroup Report & Discussion Items
    • Discussion of concerns regarding academic integrity and student availability with AI tools.
      • Plans to establish best practices and ways to support students through new policies and standardized syllabus language.
    • Upcoming conference with OFE and DSA for use of AI in teaching and learning.
  •  Research Subgroup Report & Discussion Items
    • Discussion for outlining Strategic Needs for AI Research at NC State.
    • Proposal given for an AI research support system or program.
    • Discussion of metrics of success for the AI Advisory Group.
