GEP Special Topics Offerings for 2014-2015
With CUE approval, a special topic course that meets the objectives for a GEP category and/or GEP co-requisite may be offered using one of the established GEP special topics shells.
A special topics GEP shell may be piggybacked with a departmental prefix but only students registered under the GEP course prefix will receive GEP credit.
A GEP special topic is limited to one offering and must be offered for a letter grade. A request for a second offering requires approval by CUE.
A course offering as a GEP special topic should not be advertised as such until CUE has approved.
Course Scheduling
CUE must approve the use of a GEP special topic offering before scheduling of the course can occur in SIS.
Scheduling of GEP Special Topics is handled by Catherine Freeman. Please contact Catherine_Freeman@ncsu.edu with course scheduling detail.
