Registration, Records and Calendar: Committee Charge

1. In consultation with the University Registrar, advise the Provost and the Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Services on the policies and procedures within the Department of Registration and Records, including the maintenance of student records, registration, scheduling, and making suggestions to better serve the University.
2. Study the workings of the currently approved calendar and evaluate.
3. Approve for recommendation to the Chancellor the academic calendars which are to be published by the University following University and UNC System Office guidelines.
4. Consult with the Faculty Senate’s Governance, Communication, and Recruitment Committee for consideration of policies, procedures or other matters pertaining to the academic mission of the university.
