• Commencement Committee – As of the 2022-2023 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved. It will become an advisory body and include those stakeholders from across the university who already assist in ensuring the ceremonies are planned
  appropriately. 
• Extension, Engagement and Economic Development Committee – As of the 2019-2020 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved. Some of its previous activities are being carried out by an administrative advisory committee known as the Engagement Operations Council.
• Student Health – As of the 2018-2019 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved and its previous activities are being carried out by an administrative advisory committee known as the NC State Wellness Committee. 
• Physical Environment Committee – As of the 2016-2017 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved. 
• Copyright Committee – As of the 2015-2016 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved and its previous activities are being carried out by an administrative advisory committee.
• Art Acquisitions Committee – As of the 2014-2015 academic year, this standing committee was dissolved and the former responsibilities of the committee are contained in the university’s Guidelines for Public Art Acquisitions.
