The University Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee is appointed by the provost in consultation with the chair of the faculty, for the purpose of advising the provost in matters relating to the policy and processes involved in reappointment, promotion, and tenure review.

Committee Charge

  1. Review the RPT process.
  2. Review the content and configuration of the RPT web site.
  3. Review the RPT academic regulations (PRR site).
  4. Submit a written report of the process review.
  5. Upon the provost’s request, review selected dossiers and prepare a written evaluation (without voting).
